I agree with Lemmy's statement, we're into this for sales and we have to make them ( althought I'm not for "do whatever it takes for it" ). Personally, I like small but explicit warning messages at the top of the page ( it can fit right after the title nicely and still have good space for adv banners / links ).

I agree with the previous responses. Changing it as you describe would be over the top imo
