I've had this unit for almost 4 years now...actually just replaced the battery a few months ago. Think the UPS was a bit under $200 when I bought it. We get quite a few power spikes in this area, the UPS keeps all my computer equipment online and safe ![]() |

If that were the case, well...let's just say some my thoughts about your sexy self would be very bad indeed ![]() Yea Pat, a good UPS is actually pretty cheap peace of mind. This unit has enough battery power to keep both my systems, router, cable modem and bu ext hd powered for about 20 minutes in a full blackout. Which allows plenty of time for a controlled soft shutdown in case of a power loss. But, the bigger benefit to me is the line conditioning that keeps equipment from taking a hit when the power 'burps'...which happens quite a bit in this neck of the woods. Ahhh...Florida, land of sunshine and thunder/lightening storms... and of course ![]() |
