Well, I stayed up really late last night in my continued efforts to harden my new, thus far useless, server. By the time I went to bed, I was very proud of myself indeed.

I slept late, woke up - discovered that the motherfucker was down. It's working now, after much back-peddling, but I don't know why it hates me so damn much. (I call jackassery and cumhoggery!) Anyway, when the wife gets home from work, I think I'll whine to her and get her to authorize me to pay a real server management company to harden and tweak that piece of shit. (Either way, you know I'll kill it eventually.)
