You are not alone. Charter had the NFL network as part of their sports Tier. The NFL said, we want to be part of your basic digital package. Charter said no, so the NFL cancelled their contract. All of this went down 1 week before the NFL announced that they would be showing games on that channel!

Well, I stayed up really late last night in my continued efforts to harden my new, thus far useless, server. By the time I went to bed, I was very proud of myself indeed. I slept late, woke up - discovered that the motherfucker was down. It's working now, after much back-peddling, but I don't know why it hates me so damn much. (I call jackassery and cumhoggery!) Anyway, when the wife gets home from work, I think I'll whine to her and get her to authorize me to pay a real server management company to harden and tweak that piece of shit. (Either way, you know I'll kill it eventually.)

There's a couple other channels that we'll no longer get as well (like ESPN 2 HD) but none of this affected The Bitch until I told her that she was going to have to change her email address since we'll have Road Runner - that got her pissed
