Can someone here tell me how to clarifly a site's PR?
I mean, if I search a site by a keyword, and that site is on the fist page of the search research, meaning? Also, if that is the case, then PR is should be related to the keyword used to search? Sorry, a bit confused. If I am completely wrong and have no idea what I am talking about, then please educate me. |

One of the best ways I've seen of explaining how the search engines work can be found at http://www.greenguysboard.com/board/...ht=jays+google

PR is googles ranking system.
Tools like this check against the google data centers: http://www.mygooglepagerank.com/ To put it simply, the more backward links a page has the higher the PR. According to google, the higher the PR the more SE traffic. BUT, as many will attest, PR really isn't the end-all-be-all. It's actually a pretty poor measure of a site's/page's value, but it's easy, so a lot of people use it when considering link trades because it requires less thinking. ![]()
