I just want to pull my hair out and light myself of fire when I hear people spouting God's Will. That nutjob doesn't know what God's Will is. As a matter of fact, I ran into God the other day at the Stop and Go. He was getting a chili dog and a diet coke (ha) and I asked him about it. His response:

"That bitch is wack yo! I don't care what ya'll do wit cho laws and shit. I gave you mo-fo's free will, so if you screw it up, don't go blaming it on me. The only thing I ever told you was Be excellent to each other. Everything else was made up by you dumb fucks."

Then he asked me where he could score some blow. Of course that may not have been the same God as Katherine was talking about. There are so many Gods it's hard to keep track.

Separating religion and politics is "so wrong because God is the one who chooses our rulers," Harris said. "And if we are the ones not actively involved in electing those godly men and women," then "we're going to have a nation of secular laws. That's not what our founding fathers intended and that's (sic) certainly isn't what God intended."

The logic just kills me:

God chooses our rules for us because God wants us to be religous. Therefore, we should choose religious rulers so we can be religious...

What does it take to convince someone they're insane?

Whenever someone tries to convince me that their god needs our help, I sort of figure their god must be some kind of real pansy wimp, giving us free will just so he can shirk the responsibilty that comes with really being all-powerful, and then continue to nag us via his 'representatives on earth' in some passive-aggresive attempt to conceal his actual impotence.

...but that's just me.
