when that happens, the landscaping crews have some fertilizer that they can put on it to make those leaves green again. If the leaves turn brown, then I would check the sprinkler pump and make sure the timer is working.
Bellsouth sent new phone books, along with a CD. I thought, let me poke around the cd and much to my surprise, there is an install script on it for Unix. It does require KornShell, but, hey, they are acknowledging that not everyone uses PCs or Macs...
Other than that, a fun day of debugging code written when 32bit CPUs were the norm.
