Being an American educated in our public schools -- no, I am not one of those that thinks Alaska is an island -- I had to check where Montreal was that it would be 'coastal' enough to actually get a hurricane.

I did check with our state government, it seems that we've filled our quota of hurricanes, so, you can keep it.

At least if you lose power after the hurricane, its not excessively hot afterwards. You're not in that 6 months of darkness yet are you?

Busy day ahead making 64 bits talk to 32 bits. Intel still hasn't answered a conundrum I have, but, hey, I'm sure they will some day.

When I lived in Florida, I had trouble obtaining car insurance, because most companies could not track my history in Canada. I did come across one broker who said, "Sure, Canada is part of America isn't it?"

Can someone please tell me why this idiot with the IMs and emails hasnt been arrested - any ordinary person in the US (all ya have to do is watch that idiotic program that sets them up on Fridays) would already have been booked and fingerprinted - since when do congressmen have more rights than the average citizen in the US?
