I almost upgraded after reading the first few posts but have now decided to stay blissfully in the "dark ages" as MrMaryLou mentioned. Maybe I'll try the new IE7 in the future when I have time... I don't really do well with change.

I installed IE7 again and I'm keeping it, even though I want "home, print, tools, help" (the command bar) on the top left instead of on the right. I want it next to my favourites, dammit!

Are you looking for the "Edit" button (a pencil icon). If you are - "Customize Command Bar", "Add or remove commands", and add it from there. I think that's a one-click view source button. Is that the one you want?

Does somebody use firefox for everything? I do.
Oh, no, I use IE to check hotmail when I click on the mail notification of the msn messenger, and that's because msn open it by default.
I just love Firefox, there is a plugin for everything you can imagine.
The last tool I'v installed is a macro recorder, now I can open all my stats at the same time with 1 single click.
There is no way back to IE for me. And if I need it, I just open it with the firefox IEtab.

If you just keep adding buttons, eventually those 4 will move to the left

I actually tried that and almost managed to get them halfway across.

I'm getting used to IE7 now.
I just need to remember to click to close a single tab rather than the entire browser and everything will be fine.

I really like that it uses that cleartype font thing by default. Not sure if the extra space each character takes up will cause any problems though.

I also have the Google toolbar and don't need that top right search box, but when looking for solutions all I really found was that you can reposition the "File, Edit, View....." menu bar to put it above the address bar using a registry edit thingy, but that's about it.

Maybe one of those tools to tweak things will be released, as most of the complaints I've read about are about NOT being able to change fixed positions.
At the moment I like IE7 a lot, but I just wish I could make a couple of tiny teensy weensy adjustments. I have wasted space and three rows of stuff when I want no wasted space and two rows, dammit!

I'll shut up about it now.

I'll still say I'm not going to upgrade... right now anyway. As soon as I hear these small annoyances have been fixed, I'll run right over to Microsoft and download their shiny new browser. Until then, IE6 and Firefox work for me.

Hee hee.
To be honest, I only re-installed IE7 to play with it a bit, but kept it because I was too lazy to go back to IE6.
I loved IE6 and miss it's tweakability compared to IE7, but the fonts look much nicer now so I'm keeping it.

We need to have some fun, since we don't have those pretty machines to admire all day through our rose coloured iGlasses.

That one has been out for awhile but it is still pretty funny although I can't understand why his Mac is crashing since it has been many years since mine has had any kind of crash.

I like this one that just came out about making movies.
