well in IE I'm finding it locks the first time, but the 2nd or 3rd time I click it it plays. I've searched the board for anything similar but I'm going to have to come back to it later.

it wouldn't have anything to do with how I uploaded it, or permissions, or anything like that, would it?

I knew I should've stuck to pics

Yes, probably, I wasn't aware you split them. If you want I can send you the splitter I use and you can give it a try. IM me if you want to try it out and recut those movies.
