I have been served by 12 presidents. The 6 Democrat presidents have served me for 29 years and the Republicans served me for 34 years. During my life, the Democrats had the majority in the Senate for 43 years and the Republicans for 20 years. Democrats controlled the House of Representatives for 47 years and the Republicans for 16 years.

I have woke up the morning after 32 national elections. On the morning of 11/08/06, I woke to the status que - Congress is controlled by 435 professional politicians of which 280 of them call themselves Democrats.

As long as you are governed by professional politicians and not common men, your rights will continue to erode.

The moral to this story is that I am 63 years old.
