You were pretty clear Simon. It was obvious your mic wasn't plugged directly into the computer, like MML's, but I had no trouble making out every word you said.

And your points were interesting too. Thanks for sharing. My favorite was something like, "Some people do just one thing and expect to be successful. If you want to be successful you have to be doing about a dozen things at once."

Btw, about an hour after the show I compiled a decent list of "What has worked for me."

If there were OTB archives I could look up what I said so I'd be sure what I meant. The way it sounds all alone there it's like I'm advocating the benefits of attention deficit disorder.

Actually, I'm pretty sure I was talking about seeing lots of posts here from builders/submitters talking about not getting enough signups or making enough money. My comment was meant to caution people against narrowing their focus too early. If someone is just getting started and all they do is build and submit free sites and/or galleries, then they have their entire success in the adult biz tied directly to that one thing that they do.

Something to that effect, I believe, yes. However, it seems entirely appropriate to apply the concept in other levels of broad/fine scale too - like the way a person sells a sponsor, or the approach a person takes when growing a business.

Of course, I could also continue on about how to interpret your words as a general principle/philosophy about life... but that would be silly, wouldn't it?

Just yesterday I got harrassed by some of my artsy friends because I can hold still when I'm modelling myself but I can't hold still when I'm paiting another model. I think working in this business really does emphasize my latent ADD + OCD.
