Yep... removed those sites on the 14th with the launch.

No fine print... The sites were shit

They just were not promoted by 99% of our affiliates, and got next to no traffic. Most of those old sites did 0-3 signups a week, on a good day maybe 20-30 signups total between all the removed sites. In the big picture.. program wide... nothing

But the main reason for removal... none of them converted or recurred worth a damn, with 1999 site designs and content... and with plans to raise payouts to $40.00 on all the niche sites that get alot of traffic and conversions for our affiliates... it was a no brainer.

Also since the launch the traffic from those old sites has been converting better pushing to the new sites... win win for all.

Not true... if the old site was promoted in the direct program for $30.00 and it pushes to a new HD site it will pay the $50.00... or if it forwards to another non new niche site, it would get the 40.00. Affiliates make more.

They only down side... are a few of old old sites were in niches we did not have another site in the same niche to replace it with... like filthyletters. But what we did do was to push these to the best converting sites from our pre-launch tests.

Huh.. I have to agree - some of these sites looked like shit and I didnt even try to promote them but some were one of the best converting paysites in particular niche - like

I've got ratios like these next to deleted sites: (since there is no list I can only guess which sites were these) - I took the sites that got at least 10 SUs

(join page hits of course)

But if I was the only one who promoted them no wonder they were getting 0-3 signups a week

Yep... some of the old odd niche sites might have converted on a trial with targeted traffic... but recurring sucked... almost every trial sale was money lost

But you never know... down the road we could re-release some of them with exclusive content...

So far new sites are doing GREAT.... although 2 days is by no means a benchmark to go by... but I have faith
