I want to set the record straight - I thought the cop was a prostitute

I'm not sure about frequent pinging and bans on pinging services.
That's something I read somewhere and I want to be safe. I prefere to learn from other peoples mistakes, not my own. I believe that banning frequent pingers is not logical. I mean, ping services are there just to be pinged. I also believe that spammy content will result in a ban. When frequent pings are mixed with spam content then you WILL get in trouble with ping services. Then again I have no proof for anyting in this matter. Some sources state that more than half pings from all blogs are so called "spings" or "spam pings". Since it is becoming a big problem I try to stay away from being interpreted as a "spinger". |

Good content takes time to create. In my mind some one creating tons of content each day, (ping per post) is likely a spammer. Not perfect, but what else is there to go by? Last edited by ronnie; 2006-12-18 at 08:26 AM.. |

They've lightened up on things a little bit and as long as your not using an auto-pinger you can get your blogs pinged even if it is spam. |
