Good Eary Saturday Morning

Good Morning All!

On the agenda today is fix the plumbing in our garage. We had turned off the water when it got real cold, but didn't drain the lines like idiots, and when we turned on the water yesterday we found we cracked a pipe. Oh joy. At least the walls are not finished yet, so it should be easy to fix.

After that, we are doing some yardwork. Transplanting some rose bushes which should be fun, and working on the greenhouse. It is supposed to be in the 60's today so should be nice day for it.

Tonight, I'm taking MadHatter out to dinner for his birthday, and give hime some other gifts too.

ugh...ended up in the emergency room with my gf at 2 this morning. She's having an allergic reaction to something (we've narrowed it down to 3 possibilities). Poor thing was uncontrollably itching, welts coming up in spots...very unpleasant. After in IV cocktail of various drugs, she seems to be a bit better today.

Time to get a little work done...

OMG good luck to her! Hopefully you can figure out what it is, so she can avoid that in the future. I've had that kind of reactions too, of all things to two different antihistimines, they are no fun. Glad she is feeling better.

Afternoon!

Well just got my daughter and grandson moved out once again I had a long talk with her and now that she is engaged I told her she needs to stay put. So today I'll be getting my office back I sure have missed it.

Hope your gf feels better soon Mr Yum! My daughter has been threw that a few times and it's no fun.

I have a lasik seminar later tonight.

Jim, I did the lasik surgery thing about 13 years ago. I'm sure they've improved upon it since those days but I gotta tell ya that I don't regret it one little bit. The first few days will be trying though. I remember taking demorol for the pain and thank goodness for that but that was to be expected because afterall, it is eye surgery. I'm not sure if they still give you the 'eye drops' but I remember having to take a daily regimen of drops for the about a week. The morning was the worst time of all because your eyes are so raw but by the third day, all was good and everything came into focus - I almost didn't even notice it right away! I suggest that once you do decide to go for it, make sure you are relaxed for those first few days - your gonna need it. Do exactly as you're required and in no time at all you will feel like a new man.
