I used Skype to conference in CJ all the way from Australia. When it worked it worked flawlessly. But we did have several times when the connection was choppy.

Make sure the box you have it on and the one you are connecting to are clean of all the spyware bullshit and you might as well do a virus scan. At least the earlier versions of skype seemed to be pretty picky about this.

If you have 2 machines with 2 connections this will work the best. Depending on how "Fat" you have the winamp connection as far as the size the stream combined with a fat skype connection can overrun your connection.

I ended up streaming on the DSL connection as I skyped thru cable and ran it all thru a mixer. As you both know it childs play to have one person on the mic but when you add in the phone component is where you run into the pitfalls.
