Sure.
There are tons of people/worms/bot randomly scanning ports on (random) IP ranges to find weak PC's to abuse.

If you have open ports on your system, you're definitely a target for the malicious bastards out there
![]() I highly recommend running the Shields Up port scanner at GRC to test your ports. It's part of what I do on any system I lock down. Shields Up Also, these days Norton is not the best security software out there. Frankly, it's gotten too bloated and misses things ![]() |
