Newbie needs help

For doing the site yourself, it looks good. As johnny mentioned the main page is a bit too much, it is a little too much info in so many different columns. And ya, the text needs to pop more, kinda blends in.

One big thing, you might want to make your exit link on the index page go somewhere esle. Some companies do get upset to have porn sites linking to them, I've found out first hand.

Would'nt hurt to put more teaser text on all pages. Dont think you can ever have enough, talking and teasing the surfer.

To me niche is the many different parts or tastes of surfers. Like some get into foot fetish, wet or messy, lingerie, ect.

As for traffic, could get listed with LL's, link trades with simlar sites, toplists, ect. You probably realize one of the benifits of working for a cam site, they do the traffic. It's hard work and takes time.

camsites bring less targetted traffic then my site does now :-) and i'm only at 170-200 visitors a day :-)

They bring indeed the traffic, but 95% of the people they bring dont actually buy shows :-) and the 5% that does buy a show think they can permit themselves anything. So there's no fun in working for those sites :-)

Let me be one the girls that really enjoy being on cam. But being on cam and on a camsite, just sucks, and if I do sexual things i prefer to really enjoy them instead of faking them. It needs to be fun, not work, otherwise you will be burned out in no time.

And I'm willing to invest my time in the site, and with the help from the pro's and amateurs in the business, i think i can pull this off :-)

Seem to meet more nice people on the net lately than in real life :-)

Splash/warning page looks sharp and clean.

Main page needs to grab the surfer immediately.

Seeing prices right away could drive off a lot before they even check out the site. I wouldn't put them on the main page.

Have some welcome text at the top with a row of thumbnail shots of your best stuff to grab the surfer's attention.

What's the actual name of the site? I couldnt tell. I do see a banner for www.teencamgirl.be but that doesn't grab me much. I don't even know what the .be extension is.

Try to stand out more from all the other camgirls. Do you have something you particularly like? Lingerie, boots, a certain toy, whatever. Concentrate on that and build yourself a catchphrase. You want something specific and get in the search engines for it. Some type of roleplaying might be good here.

You have some points, just remember those people that want free shows will probably visit your site also.. Sure you realize that.

I don't think any one mentioned, you should start a free blog, unless you have one and I missed it. Could help the surfers get to know and trust you with their money. And you can tease them all over the place.

Now that I think about it, your going to charge per minute? I did'nt think CCbill processed per minute?

On your "Click here for other payment options" there's no warning that it takes you to your instant message program - if a customer does not have an "IM" client loaded, he/she will get an error.

The freechatters on my site open everytime like this, CAN I SEE A PREVIEW! :-) every single one of them :-) and the answer is very simple in most cases, NO. I dont do this everytime, if there's a connection with someone and we are allready chatting a bit and he seems intrested, ... then of course i would do it, but ask any of the independant girls, and they all will tell the same, if they want a preview they dont buy a show, so we dont give previews anymore. (heard all kind of excuses, wanne see how you look, wanne see yr cam quality, ...) But for those reasons they can easily check my site, see the previews and buy a show then. :-) But the experience in the last months learned me, that once they mention freeview, the are a waste of time. (In the beginning I went independant, I tried about everything// got at the moment an ignore list on yahoo with about 300 people in it (scammers, bullshitters, ...))

About the ccbill, I allready setup my ccbill, was quiet easy to get around the minutes thing. (was actually ccbill that offered the solution to me, really love there supportteam :-))

setup my ccbill so that a custommers buy X minutes in advance. (10/20/30/45 minutes) and if you combine any of these amounts you can practicly pay any amount necessary.

But now that you mention it, ... :-)
Use ccbill at the moment, and with a cut of 16%-84% (minus somekind of reserve) i keep about 80%.

Are there anyother good payment processors in general?
any good ones for debitcards? (got a question from a client about that yesterday)
any good ones if they dont wanne use cc?

I love purple and pink - you'll see me using it on our paysite and on many of the free sites I make. This said, your fonts colors are still to light for my old eyes - try something in the #A600DD (or darker) range for the purple and #E802FB for the pink. I have a dual monitor system and have the CRT calibrated for 7500K but the flat screen is set to 9500K and is not calibrated. This gives me a pretty standard range of the monitors out there so I can see what the page might look like for different users.

Also be sure to look it it in a higher screen rez - say 1200x1600 and see what you get... You close the <div id="container" align="center"> tag too soon. Try placing the </div> tag right before the </body> tag. This keeps the entire page at the same width.

Also be sure to preview it in FireFox - if you want the page to center you may need to make a few changes. For simplicity, I just place the entire page in a table
