Crop the pics with ACDphotoeditor for example (or any as you like). I do like this. I have both landscape and portrait pics. I make a dir thumb where I copy them. Then I use ACDSee and resize them at 100 x 100 largest image. After I crop them to actually 100 x 100.
Don’t know if they accept bg img on the recip page.
