Thanlks for all the replies...do you look at the graphic recip and get ideas, or do you just get creative? I'm sure there's probably a happy medium somewhere, but what is the best way to approach it?

I also agree with Spacemans way of thinking. It is more beneficial IMHO for submitters to use their own custom anchor text so that the linklist owner doesn't end up with 10,000 identical recip links pointing to his page.

So many free site builders go out of their way to make the recip text almost unclickably small or use a font color which is far too similar to the background color. Trust us, you aren't losing much traffic on a free site to those recips.

Their big because he is blind! And the color balance on his monitor is so far off that he needs rose color glasses to see the world proper - oh wait, maybe he does have the glasses.....
