Let me guess the answer...it is "yes"...

I haven't built a lot of free sites. The ones I did build were mainly just to see what it's like from the other side of the fence, and they were built for the "big, popular" categories. But I always thought that aside from it being easier to get listed on the more micro niched, fetish oriented categories, the conversions would be better too.

I never tried it so I don't know that for a fact. Just a gut feeling.
