Do you think this business is recession resistant?

Any theories on the reason?
Whatever the US economy does effects the UK especially on fuel prices.
The banks have fucked up in a big way on giving credit away to bad debtors which is also the problem here, and like with anything, it always has a knock on effect on everything else.
