Why wouldn't you start impeachment proceedings and purposely plan them to end after the next election with the real goal of further damaging the Republican brand? Perhaps not an honourable motive, but these are politicians after all. I would think that day after day of impeachment proceedings on the evening news has to be "political gold" for the Dems.

It just killed me to watch the republicans beat the democrats last week with the impeachment vote. To turn the tables on the democrats the way they did is the reason democrats can't do a thing.

You have to watch Fox News or Glen Beck for a few hours to understand the mentality of the voters in America. It's really pretty scary that they use nothing but leading questions and catch phrases to make a point and act like it's news.

"Attacking the people that keep you safe."

"Now we're fighting them there and her."

"Strong stance on hero Cheney, weak stance on terror."

It's a can of worms that should not be open.

I hear the term "impeachment" a little more frequently now. I think the American public is fed up and would support impeachment at this point. I saw a bumper sticker that said "somebody give the president a blowjob so we can impeach him..."
