Good Snowy Saturday Morning

Morning..
Well the rain in the Vegas Valley yesterday deposited Snow on Red Rock and our 1 local Mountain. Plus it knocked out my cable last night for about 45 minutes. However for years I have resisted networking my vast collection of electronics. Mainly because I know SHITE about it. but more and more it has become apparent to me that I needed to move further along. so after owning a Router for a year..i finally got it all hooked up with our laptop on wireless and the Xbox360 wired in.

and when the cable came back.. my internet did not. Cox told me that it was NOT their problem.. i was pinging ok. So this morning after many hours of frustration.. i unhooked my computer from the frigging router and put it back to the cable modem and WALLAH here I am.

I hate being technology impaired.

anyway.. other than palms, banks and PO .. I think we're having cocktails tonight up at Red Rock so we can view the snow... it's the little things..

I had the same problem when my cable internet went out for about 8 hours. My cable tech support people were nice enough to tell me that I had to turn the router off, and back on so it could reboot and whatever. Worked fine after that.

Finally got all the shoveling done. About 6 inches of snow, and the laneway drifts in pretty bad. I think I may put in one of those heater things, the next time I get the driveway redone.

About time to crack a bottle of SC, and split my time between surfing the internet and TV.

May slip over to the pub later for the karaoke night, and flirt with all the new coeds in town.
