Happy Mardi Gras!
No election crap in Mississippi today, just parades. Of course that means minimal work this morning followed by crowds this evening. Good thing too, because I wouldn't vote for any of those crooked bastards to begin with. When our election comes in March, I'll be writing in "none of the above". I wouldn't vote for a Democrat for dog catcher and the only common factor on the Republican side I can see I have is the shared last name with McCain.

Sausage, eggs, biscuits and gravy, grits, coffee, king cake and a joint or 3 is now being served, then it's off to the beach for a sunrise gull feeding on this gloriously warm Fat Tuesday, followed by the Krewe of Diamonds and Krewe of Gemini parade and fais do-do tonight.
