And don't forget to backup your MySQL databases. I have a mixture of server scripts and crontabs doing mine automatically. If that seems a bit overwhelming PhpMyAdmin has a fast manual way to backup your databases to your desktop.
No matter what you do be sure to backup or when you least expect it, usually after you have invested a lot of time and energy creating a database, something goes horrible wrong and poof your database is gone. |
