That guy had to have been a Stockwell Day supporter.
He can squawk all he wants but I'm quite sure that the average Canadian out there feels as I do, that the level of censorship currently set on Canadian Television networks is just about right. When I want to watch a movie on TV late at night the last thing I want to see is that it's been censored to pieces in order that the odd 8 year old who might be up that late *might* be horribly scarred by the word "ass". It is for that reason that I rarely if ever watch a movie on US stations. TBS, AMC, and even Spike, are the worst offenders. Movies on those stations are literally scrubbed clean of any trace of mature content. Seriously... what is the point of running Scarface on a channel like that? What, the violence is okay but God help us if a kid hears the F word? What a world we live in. I say either run a movie in it's original form or not at all. There are plenty of ways for parents to insulate their kids from objectionable content, it's on them to avail themselves of it.
