My sister was just diagnosed with Fibromyalgia. She is trying to get disability from work but because the govt doesnt recognize it (yet) they wont give it to her... and there is no real cure or meds for it, but "they" are working on it.

I've had it for about 6 years now, and this winter has taken a huge toll on me, been so bad the last 2 months that after I go workout (and that is just walking on the treadmill at the gym for 41 minutes 3 days a week) that I am almost bedridden for 2 days

this winter the pain moved in my chest affecting my sternum and my ribs and shoulders, I am on almost the strongest pain pills they have, 3 to 4 times more powerful than morphine by weight, and there the closest thing to heroin and then on top of those I take nerve pills, my life has been hell for me the last 6 months...then I gotta worry about those stints that they put in my arteries plugging up and giving me another MI

my pain management doctor thinks I'll get a break this summer from my symptoms and I hope like hell

I just found info in dutch, now fuck that "weke delen reuma" in dutch, they where talking about the 3 different things about that on dutch telly this midday and Fibromthing was one of them.
