Happy April Fools Day

Morning.. and Happy April, Fools!!

Today is my 1st grandson's 17th birthday, 6 months younger than my youngest son. Of course when she was having him as we crossed the GW Bridge into NJ, I thought she was playing a "trick" on us until the "treat" ended up in my lap.

Took the press tour of the new non-gaming

Tower that opened yesterday. Nice rooms and a very urban looking space, however difficult to get in and out of vehicle wise and I'm not sure there is that much "call" for a luxury non-gaming hotel. Will be interesting to watch.

Not much on tap for today. Statewide testing under the "No child left behind Act" (which leaves all children behind) is this week. of 50 major school districts, Las Vegas is #29th with a 53% graduation rate. Chalk up another statistic for the Bush Administration to be remembered by.

Have a nice "test free" day today filled with bu$hel$ of Buck$.
