On a mainstream blog, if someone blogrolls you - should you return the favor or just accept the free link juice?

I could be completely wrong on this because I only do a little mainstream blogging - but I've seen it a couple times where they put up a link and expect a link in return. However, I only do it if it's a site worth linking to.

You're under no obligation, unless you arranged a link exchange in advance. Note it's called "link exchange" and not "link trade" in mainstream

A lot of mainstream webmasters don't do link exchanges anymore. The idea is to really go the "organic" way, link to good blogs/sites and hope that yours is good enough to garner the same kind of attention.
