Good morning all.

Emmy and I brought a house yesterday

We weren't looking for one but this one kind of dropped in our laps. Its somewhere we have always really liked but rarely passed as it's on a side road we don't normally use to leave town.

Emmy saw the for sale sign first as I was looking at the view and she nearly had a coronary trying to tell me the house I had wanted since living here was up for sale. We booked a viewing for later that evening as soon as we got home and just before leaving to see the house, we finally heard from the realtor that the price it had been listed at was way below market value as it was being sold in probate.

We put in an offer the next morning and that afternoon heard ours had been accepted

Start to finish the house was listed for about 18 hrs before being sold so we were incredibly lucky to get it. The amazing thing is that it sits high above our town on 1.25 acres overlooking the lake with a million dollar view and we got it for the price of a standard 3 bed detached
