It almost feels normal again with

107 here today and winds. I hired a "new" chick to work in the office for clerical duties. My ex bunkie from that "gated community" needs to beef up her income--legally this time--so I'm giving her some extra work. Should be interesting since I have 12 boxes of unopened mail.

Of course that means I'll have to breakfast her 1st ..so I can see it will be a late start.

didn't do much yesterday-watched Ghost Dog (old Forest Whitaker movie) and then some formula Wil Ferrell flick about basketball.

and worked.
