Sorry for that - My server crapped out on me right after I made that post and went to the club. When I came home, my entire server was down. Apparently the hosting company had forgotten to add my server to their monitoring systems. To say I'm a little upset is an understatement.

"I do not see anything in the logs to indicate the case.
Based on the timing I would suspect that it was simply a failed restart during normal log rotation.

The larger issues is that we were not notified.
Unfortunately your server was not added correctly to out monitoring system which resulted in our not being notified when the web & ftp servers were off-line.
I am very sorry for this error. It has been corrected and will not be a problem again."

Then I had to make another call in order to get the database connections reset. AAAAAARRRRRRGGGGGG
