Sales from Free Sites

Like others have said, don't expect to get rich from this biz. It's work, hard work, and you can make a good income, but it takes, (did I say that already?) hard work.

Now, with freesites, you're not supposed to submit more than one FS a day to the larger LL's. For many that means submitting 6-7 sites a week only. To be fair, I don't think I know of anyone who actually maintains that schedule for too long - you get burned out after a while.

I also am unaware of anyone who does nothing but Freesites. Most people combine FS with other kinds of sites. It could be galleries, blogs, hubs, seo-oriented sites, or any combination of these. When you get the hang of FS building, it shouldn't take you more than 1-2 hours to produce a FS, and with making one a day, tops, you have lots of time for other endeavors.

By the way,has anyone else noticed a major slowdown in sales these last few weeks? I'm pushing the traffic and getting the numbers up more then ever on my end....still no bingo. Anyone else feel a hit lately?

Maybe the yuppies are done denying the depression and watching their spending now. Maybe I'm just on an extended loosing streak. Either way....FUCK!

Mine are even but I worked on the new paysite most of the month so overall marketing traffic is down.

I will say the month has been in spurts - great days and suck-ass days.

For most of July I was starting to think that the "summer slowdown" was a reality but right at the end of the month the law of averages kicked in and it turned out to be another mediocre month instead of a bad one.

I certainly have as far as initial signups go, of course this is my first real summer as last year I was just getting started and getting rejected and blacklisted everywhere....

On a positive note, my rebills are excellent. I've got several in the 6+ month plus range, and I'm getting close to the min payout on several sponsors...so I am at least hanging in there. My traffic overall has been slowly but surely getting better, too.

I'm optomistic about the new trusted submitter thing at LOR as I think it will translate into more coversions since we can use more and better sales tools, and build sites quicker. That has to be a good thing.

Yeah,me too! I think with gas prices rising etc.and the porn biz in a bit of a slum, it came at just the right time for everyone.
