Sunny start of the day but Gustav may be on its way.

Watched Before the Devil Knows You're Dead yesterday. The acting is first rate, the movie unfolds in flashbacks with almost unbearable dramatic tension. Very disturbing and very captivating.

Just a day of work and errands planned for today with a high chance of afternoon storms and a visitor that works naked.

A stripper friend from back in the oily neighbor days is coming to stay with us for a few days so that she can work at the club up the street. She had a baby with her barely legal boyfriend and moved to St. Augustine Florida and says that there is nothing to do and no work there.

Seems like it will be another nice day. One of the very few this summer. I think I picked a good summer to write off.

Did I mention that I am painting my bike Cadillac Pick and Cream this year?

When I painted it orange, nobody had an orange bike. I then was going to paint it yellow and started seeing a lot of yellow bikes. But, I have not seen a lot of pink Harleys riding around.

I am actually going back and forth on the original Cadillac pink (kind of a salmon) or the newer Mary Kay Cadillac pink.

But next year...it will be pink.

Jim when I was a kid I read a fiction book about a guy that built a hot rod painted it pink and had all the chrome pieces bronzed, that has stuck with me for all these years I think that scheme on a bike would be HOT

We got a lot of rain yesterday afternoon, last night and a little this morning. I don't even remember the last time it rained this much. Now the temp dropped to mid 70s and it seems cold.

Still working on a couple of projects and hoping to finish at least one by tomorrow.

Finished up a portion of a project this morning which gets that portion out of the way. Still some integration to do with it, but, that portion is done.

Fay Dumped a lot of rain on Lake Okeechobee and based on some of the early forecasts, Gustav is looking to head towards Texas/Louisiana.

Have a lot to do today after an early conference call, so, I better get back to it. Have a good Tuesday everyone.

We are still in recovery mode after a long 6 days, actually an even longer 14+ days when you take into account family visiting, moving in 107F heat, and flying to Curacao for 4 days and back. The rest of this week is pretty much getting the old place ready for the turnover Friday and getting this place unpacked, luckily we hired a cleaning crew that gives a 100% pass guarantee so all I have to really do is patch the holes in the walls from the pictures etc.

If anyone is looking for some incredible reefs to snorkel or dive, Curacao would be the place, just incredible reefs, as for the rest of the island….. Did I mention how incredible the reefs are?
