What I don't get is the people who call her "hot" and a "babe". To me, a 44 year old mother of five is far from what I'd consider "hot".
Considering the attached pic, she looks more like her husband's mother than his wife. She's anti-abortion and pro-death penalty, as well as pro-gun and supports teaching creationism in public schools. ![]() Do we really need another backwards, redneck hypocrite in the executive office? I say NO!! |

Her 17 year old unmarried daughter is pregnant:
http://www.nytimes.com/reuters/us/in...=1&oref=slogin Personally, I don't give a shit. It happens all the time. But I bet it's still embarrassing to the right wingers, or whatever you want to call the republicans. McCain claims he knew. The article also states that the republicans are announcing it now to counter this weekend's rumors of Palin being the grandmother of her newborn. So, in other words, they're politicizing a 17 year old's pregnancy.

And what do you bet the father was forced to marry her? I'm sure her daughter and the father had enormous pressure to marry and keep the child.

So, because of this woman's political affiliation and beliefs, this pregnancy can be filed under "a gift from god."

I just read about the daughter's pregnancy on cnn.com and all I can say is wow, wow, wow... how in the world could McCain think that this misguided woman would set an example for the rest of us?
And you're right, they'll probably spin it as a "blessing". It's interesting to note how the Obama campaign has been almost completely silent over the weekend, I suppose they're smart enough to sit back and let the McCain/Palin campaign bury itself. What worries me though is that even with all his problems, Bush got elected twice, so who knows how this will all play out. |
