The sun is out, our macaws are squawking, and it's raining.

Bought all our hurricane supplies yesterday including 100+ gallons of gas. Already a lot of gas stations or out of gas I'm told by friends that tried to fill up their cars yesterday. It's looking like it may go south of us and Cuba, not looking too good for Simon though, and miss us but still too soon to be sure so better prepared then sorry.

A friend asked me to stop by and see why her generator wouldn't start. She left it outside in the rain for the past two years with a broken gas cap so the tank and carburetor was full of water and the whole generator was just a big rusted mess. Guess she will be generator shopping if she wants power after the next storm. I don't get people that leave something expensive like that outside uncovered in the elements.

Doing the gym this morning and then just a day of working at home planned.
