Huh You seem to have a paranoia in regards to what could be considered a bannerfarm.

I agree he needs to reduce the links in text but for a completely different reason.

I think if you have a lot of different terms linking to one and the same outbound link, there is a slight danger to be considered as such. If each of the terms would links to a different page it would be ok imho.
