100K rule is, indeed, something I missed. Are we talking about strictly below 100K here or it can be near 100K (115K e.g.) ?

I'm not a Nazi about 100K but when I see 130K I fidget. Some yokels are still on dial up and if an image takes too long to load they might get frustrated and back out.

You have 12 images/gallery and that's the most that I know of that are required. Don't want to give away too much ya know.

Not sure how many LL still have this rule but IMO it should be removed at least few years ago. At the times 20sec video weigh 2-3mb and most of us require few of those you must admit this rule is plain stupid

I'd like to know if anyone cares anymore.. sure I agree we shouldn't go crazy but I belive 200-300kb should be acceptable - most times 200kb will be enough to have 1024x765 crisp clear

I agree. If you take a few seconds in Photoshop or Gimp or whatever, you can easily create clear images that aren't exceptionally heavy. I can't stand reviewing grainy over-optimized images. It's not even worth my time. Webmasters aren't keeping up with the technology and quality that many sponsors are pushing and therefore not representing them to the best of their abilities. The "under 100kb" rule is soooo 2006.
