I'm not interested in the facts, I'm interested in my opinion.

Hmmm...I clicked the link to see and it just took me to that page.
It says "You have requested an outdated version of PayPal. This error often results from the use of bookmarks. To enter the PayPal website please click on the Welcome tab. If you are already logged in, please click on the My Account tab to continue. " Isn't that page actually located on paypal.com? How could they get it to redirect to a scam page? Did they hack paypal and drop a redirect file onto the paypal server and paypal has just fond it and corrected it? If that is the case, I don't trust the security of Paypal any more... |

Afro John says: "Touch The Extreme Afro & You'll Be In Extreme Pain!"

Hmmm odd, Im not sure thats a scam if it goes to Pay Pal, the only way they could really pull off something like that is by hacking Pay Pal and im sure if that was the case word would be out already...

I think the above posts are correct
paypal always states that when you get an email etc that might be fake check to see if it has http://www.paypal or https://www thje https are spose to be secure so I believe E J is correct it means someone would have had to hack paypal Dr Bizzaro - its always good to be concerned abotu paypal security even though I still use them (as right now there really isnt any good alternatives being used by many ppl) you might want to check out: www.paypalsucks.com if I could find a better option and educate the masses to use it I would. ![]() |

Very odd...
Last night it went (redirected) to that paypalwarning.org page so PayPal may have caught the hack (if that's what happened) and stopped it. And when I click the link from my email, I get this: "Error 404: / is not found at this location Please refer to the setup and troubleshooting guides. Back to www.paypalwarning.org homepage" Scammers that it looks paypal may have stopped already. |

Yeah, we don't have to many alternatives these days. I use it quite a bit for my private submitters and a few of my advertisers.
And the charges adds up like crazy, I just had $300 sent to me and it cost me $12.00 $!@?!?!? WTF? I think I am going to start to phaze them out as a payment source for me. I have been encouraging people to use Epassporte . It costs $35 to get it set up or what ever, but fuck, tranactions are like $.25 or something. Very inexpensive. Plus you can take money out in ATM machines. Cold, hard cash....I love it. |

the main issue for me was that ppl were saying that they could get $ out of ATM machines but that it wasnt accepted at many places online (for whatever reasons - I *believe* I read a post from the ppl at epassporte acknowledging this - but this was about 6 months ago now) also another main issue was that their customer sevrice was very poor however as I mentioned above this WAS 6 months agoi and a lot can change in ...well hell a lot can change in a DAY online ![]() so if things have picked up I may look at them as another option again whats other ppl 's opinion on it? cheers |

epassporte rocks. I have the ATM card and can get cash anytime, it's great.
The other virtual card number you have for using online is not accpeted at all places, that is true. I'm able to pay my satellite bill but not my cell bill with it so some places take it and some do not. The reason is they do not recognize 4689 (the starting numbers) as a valid Visa card sequence. But still, it's a card that can be used online sometimes and at ATMs all the time. Love it. Paypal now has an ATM card too and I just got mine. It's a Mastercard and I haven't used it yet for withdrawals. And Dr. Bizzaro is right that the charges are not cheap at all when someone pays you via paypal. ouch. |
