Of all the things I've lost, I miss my mind the most.

I learned not to put WP in the root domain on one you post a lot of galleries too
I got a gallery on the hun today, and it took my server down. I've gone through this once before, and we figured it was my .htaccess file preventing hotlinking, which they moved from .htaccess into an apache config file.
Come to find out, my gallery was on a domain that I also have a blog in the root domain. According to Chris at Phatservers: Quote:
I don't know if anyone else in blog land has had this issue, but FYI just in case. And if you did have this issue, did you solve it some other way than moving your blog off your root directory?

Oh no, I'm sweating like Roger Ebert

I had never thought about it before but I guess it does make sense. WP seems to do it's own 404 error processing

He said as soon as he commented out the rewrite code for wordpress, it made a huge difference on the server load for that one domain. I'm putting index pages that have static links to categories, and link trades that look like site, then a clickable link to the actual blog.
