Obama doesn't really have the much of an experienced pool were to get people. The last democratic president before Clinton to draw on was Carter and most of them are too old.
That is what people are forgetting, when Clinton brought in a bunch of new people who didn't know how the White House and the Hill worked it totally bungled his 1st year. You need the experience to get things done....and I for one do not want most of the left overs of Bush.
