Gas Prices

We were just talking about this the other day..

When we left atlanta in summer of 2002, our gas prices were anywhere from 98 cents a gallon to 1.29, max. We drove cross country and never paid more than 1.35 even in the most remote areas of South Dakota, Wyoming and Montana.

Get to Seattle, mere miles away from the oil fields in Alaska and we have a very hard time finding any gas for less than 1.69. Last big raise, it was well over 2.00.

So much for my theory of being closer=less cost involved.

I don't even care. I know people who drive around for hours looking for it 2 or 3 cents cheaper. If you can't afford the gas, take a bus.
