Who would be stupid enough to sell a site for 3 months income? They could close their computer down and make the 3 months income without even being online and the rest would be extra after that.

It sounds like they probably don't have much income being produced by the site, so the value may end up being based on the content alone, which is the case for a lot of paysites I've seen for sale lately. And it's almost always a situation where the current owner can't make it work, but they still believe it has a higher than realistic value. (Same with most types of sites being sold.) Quite often, the new owner will toss the current tour and work with a CMS they are more accustomed to, so they won't see value in the current owner's graphics or scripting. In this market, I would expect the sale price to be in the low range unless the content is shooting sunshine out its ass.

Yea I don't really know. She asked me and I've never resold my own content let alone be able to tell someone else what to sell their content for. I was trying to get a ballpark

True, that is if they are making money. There is a lot of shitty programs out there, run by 2bob planks that make next to nothing and want out.
