New Site - What can I improve on?

Hi All,

This is my first Bisexual site, I would like some comments on how to improve on it saleswise. Comments about design is also welcome.

Another thing do the link lists allow me to have a dynamic link list somewhere on the site for hard link trades showing a list of 10 other sites in small text, I would probably go put it on the entrance page?

Also is it wise or not to only promote one site per free site, in the old days I promoted several on the same site - but word is it is better to only try to sell one per site.

Sodo - are you using this as a "free site" to submit? If so DO NOT use the top level domain to do so. Unless of course you plan on buying several hundred domains. Create sub directories : guysdoboth.com/free site 1/ | guysdoboth.com/free site 2/ | guysdoboth.com/free site 3/ and so on. One domain can host hundreds of actual free sites. Use the index page of that domain as either hub or some type of stand alone page to get surfers to your sponsors.

Actually I have already submitted this site to all of those linklists, But I will do what you say for the rest of the domains, since what you say makes great sense, I have bought around 20 domains so far and do not plan on spending all my money on that.

So the logic of what you're saying is that keep the top level domains as hubs because some of the surfers going to the free sites in the sub directories will probably try out the top level domain?

or is the reason another one?

Another thing am I overdoing the site designs for the free sites? should I make them uglier, would that decrease chances of getting listid at the link lists?

I appreciate your comments that was very good input, if you got any other tips or tricks you want to share or if you want to take me under your wings and teach me the best way to generate traffic or any other useful tips I would be more than happy!

There must be loads of other ways to generate traffic than the way I am doing it now.
I am working on my first blog as well to see if that can generate some traffic!

Overall looks good. Jester already mentioned not using the top level domain for freesites. Only other thing is the gallery thumbnails are small and grainy.

Hi Wolfy,

Thx for the comments I will try to have my thumbnails a bit bigger in the future. I just kept them down to size so there would still be some focus on the sponsor links and text.

Well, the thought is two-fold really. Some surfers will of course back track to your top level domain as just being curious or trying to find "free stash" so yes having a place for all the sites to be easily clicked on is a plus in your favor. Second, you can use it as a portal type site..where you build pages for, in this case, Bi Lovers web sites. If you use a top level domain to submit you in theory lose that site for any other good.

I myself build my free sites and galleries as I would any other project. Meaning I put thought and effort into it. Maybe not as in depth as full sized sites or projects but with the idea of I want to put my best work out there. Does that matter? I'd like to hope so..but to be honest I dont know if it really does. What it does do though is show the Link List or TGP owner that I put real effort into it, that I dont rip hosted free sites or galleries and if that helps get me listed every time over someone who just squeaks by or doesn't use imagination than Im ok with spending an extra bit of time to do it right.

As for the other traffic ways or getting advice - this site is 90% business and 10% bullshit. I had been in the business for 8 years prior to joining as a member here...and within the last 18 months I have learned so much more than I all ready knew. The key is to keep learning, keep reading and keep doing. That's the real way to get ahead. This is not a "get rich quick" business any longer. It takes real time and real effort. Reading this board daily and going back searching for subjects that you need help with will greatly increase your understanding of how things work.
