Thre are plenty of blogs and large sites that offer to sell their traffic. The webmaster wants to make money, either by selling ads or by selling sign ups. If you can make more money selling traffic than you do selling ads why not? Or if you have enough traffic that you can sell both.

They are many reasons for websites to sell traffic. They are many many large sites that I know of personaly that sell traffic and have very good traffic.
