What i found out when i submit...

Oke, just a notice, not a nag....since some weeks ago i started to submit free sites for my boss, i noticed that about 98% of the link sites where i submit too has a reviewing time between the 3 and 14 days, the site doesnt say that in their rules but i notice that by the acception emails i get, now to get back the time i submitted free sites for myself 5 years ago, the longest time was 3 days to get your site reviewed, is this something new? i know i am late with reviewing at my own linksite, but i didnt expect the oldies took more days also, i dont have a problem with that, but its just something i have bin noticed, me as a reviewer for my bosses ....i review a couple of times a day, i know the time i submitted fee sites it was also the deal, everyday they review, has that bin changed and why has that bin changed? Btw Link o rama or cleo hasnt bin changes, but the others do, when i submit a site to penisbot, i get an exception email after about 10 or 12 days and more are like that, so what has bin changed?

I review daily but if something occurs where I will be unable to do this, I normally add a message to my submit page letting people know of the probable delay.

Thanks Blue for the explanation, like i said its not a nag, just trying to find out, what has bin changed from the time i quited making and submitting free sites

because i quite making free sites 5 years ago i never followed the linksites reviewers thing anymore, ofcourse i know richards realm has his backlog and all and still he is very quick and gg i know he reviews everyday, i only didnt expected to find hoes and openis bot and wetplace and more to be so late with reviewing and i wonder is it something they choose for or do they just have so many submits they are behind, like my boss, when i just started he wanted to leave me a backlog of 7 days, to get on the cheaters, but on this moment i review everyday just because i know most submitters.

It's pretty much the new normal Stu.

You can group together the various linklists by acceptance time - the great ones review quickly - these will always have the most submitter loyalty.

Then there are the ones that take longer - but still review reliably. I suspect they are trying to 'game the system' a bit, but still, they are reliable.

Then there are those that take longer and are not AS reliable. Sometimes they take weeks to get to the backlog.

Then there are the ones that have fallen into the 'suspect' category - where you really wonder if its a good idea to submit there.

Recently I've removed a bunch off of my submit list.

Some months ago I started using a new domain to submit from. Now it is real easy to see who is sending me traffic on newer stuff that I've built verses traffic to old promo pieces. What I've found out is that I had places that where sending me traffic from stuff that I had built in the past but not on stuff built in the last four months.

I try and do no more than 3 - 4 days. I had gotten backed up a few weeks ago and had been about 3 weeks behind but I made a post on the board about it.

Anyone have a list of suspect LLs - I reckon it would make for a good sticky thread "suspect" LL

when I review with one month backlog I easily catch some of the cheaters who already redirected their free sites or removed sites

I didnt made that backlog on purpose, but now I see it helps
