When I first started I used GoDaddy. For static freesites, it was OK, but when I tried to install my first script I had problems. The support people basically told me they did not support any third party app, including scripts.
Also, there were some reports of them seizing domains and shutting down those that didn't meet their tos. I think it's best to avoid them. |

I will never understand why for such an insignificant savings rather than support the industry that supports you, people go outside the industry to hosts that will turn them off and not work with them if there are any issues (or why people ignore those TOS's and then complain if they are shut down).
Beyond selecting an adult host for their support of the industry they will also be familiar with issues that affect adult clients and how to assist them with industry specific problems. Finally I agree with Toby. It has always surprised me how many clients experienced an significant increase in clients when they switched to a quality host just due to the increased performance and responsiveness of their site. Hope that helps! |

Hmmm... Now That Makes Me Think. The Tech Support Definetly Does Suck,. They Wouldn't Even Update Zend Optimizer When I Needed It For My Tube Script.
I Have Been Using Them For A Few Years For A Bunch Of Regular (Non Adult) Sites And Never Really Had Any Problems Until Recently. So I Honestly Never Even Questioned It Being A Problem When I Started letswatchsomeporn.com. Even Way Back When I Ran Primo Teens TGP I Never Payed Attention To That In Hosting.
