Good morning world

There was an accident on US-1 at Mile Marker 21, about 9 miles south of here. It seems the guy steering the '95 Thunderbird wasn't able to stop in time when the car in front of him slowed to make a turn and slammed into it at 45 mph. Of course he was only steering the car, and he was doing that from the passenger seat. His ex-wife was in the driver seat, and she should have hit the brakes but she was busy shaving her pubes at the time while he steered for her. Which makes sense since after all she was on her way down to Key West to meet her boyfriend. Oh wait, there's more! The day before the accident she had her license revoked for 5 years and was ordered to surrender her car to impound. I guess that explains why they tried to switch seats before the cops pulled them over (oh yes, they left the scene to do that too). Unfortunately they were tripped up by burns on the guy's chest from the airbag that deployed on the passenger side; the steering wheel bag didn't deploy so the real driver wouldn't have the burns.
(Just like on COPS, they're never wearing a shirt when they go all stupid.)

I'm not sure this kind of thing only happens in the Keys, but we certainly do get more than our fair share.
