Buy a prepaid SIM from one of the local providers and slap it in the phone. Have a safe trip.
Spent the day working on a ton of cleanup on some code I wrote about three months ago. Can't figure out what I was thinking at the time. Hope everyone has a good Thursday.

The iPhone is locked so you can't use other SIM cards.

I guess that makes sense why it is $35 to unlock it for TMobile.
Might still be cheaper than international roaming - and he's on Rogers (I think) which is a little different than AT&T.

I would suppose that the other carriers may follow suit in mid to late 2011.

You can now put whatever you want in this space :)

As a Canadian, this is something I want to investigate Bluefire Wireless. Fifty US dollars gets you an American and UK number. They claim you can save up to 70% compared to your telecom's roaming fees.

Well there was nothing special to make me crave the new iphone over my 3gs enough to do a new contract with AT&T, so when my contract ended this summer I jailbroke my phone and went to t-mobile...so I could put another countries sim in no problem
